Healthcare includes medical, dentistry, and related establishments who perform both mandatory and elective procedures and services. Part of the industry shifted primarily to managing COVID-19, while other providers had to postpone services. Though few practitioners can work completely remotely, the relationship between patient and provider has shifted to utilizing alternatives such as telehealth when possible. Emerging negative mental and physical health impacts associated with isolation, deferred treatment and lower rates of preventative screening are key concerns among providers, as are issues with service delivery, emergency assistance, vaccine information, and vaccine distribution.
